Scope of this document

This document gives a short description of the NG-LARGE ballmap. It covers the 049AF3E revision of the ballmap.

This is a preliminary version.

The given ballmap can change without notification.

NG-LARGE I/O banks die distribution

NG-LARGE has various types of IO banks :

  • On the left of the die :

    • 6 x Simple I/O banks B0 .. B5 (18 user’s I/Os per bank)

    • Conf/prog/ITF bank (provides configuration interface & user’s I/Os)

  • On the right of the die :

    • 8 x Simple I/O banks B11 .. B18 (24 user’s I/Os per bank)

  • On the bottom of the die :

    • 5 Complex I/O banks B6 .. B10 (34 user’s I/O per bank)

    • 2 x HSSL banks HSSL0 & HSSL1 (6 High Speed links each)

  • On the top of the die :

    • 5 Complex I/O banks B19 .. B23 (34 user’s I/O per bank)

    • 2 x HSSL banks HSSL2 & HSSL3 (6 High Speed links each)

The following is a simplified representation of the NG-LARGE I/O banks on the die.

Each complex IO bank have 34 user’s I/Os.
